Turtle crossing signs aren't a joke.  We have huge turtles in the wet lands formed by the remains of the PA Canal.

The wet lands

This park is behind our home, we love the area, and I love the history of the area.   I grew up nearby and we went ice skating on this "reservoir" many a cold cold winter.

Highspire borough is trying to get State assistance to preserve this park and wet lands, and to put a wooden walkway through the area.
