Wow!  It's been a while since I've put a new note. That chould be because it's been quiet or just the opposite... 

I've been working on material for several talks that I'll be giving in a few months.  One on Civil War Women and the other on the part of religion during the Civil War. (more information will be posted on the Events/Publications page.)  You can also check out the stories that I've had published.  Killer Personality is in PRINT! 

Somewhere in the past month, the hubby and I both came down with stomach flu and absolutely nothing got done anywhere in the Keesey household (except for the cats).

We've also added a new cat, 6 month old stray.  Her name's Miss Marple, and I'll be adding her to my pictures. 

I've been doing a lot of reading for reviews, some are already posted, and I have lots more to put up today.  There's a lot of good reading out there.  And of course I'm still trying to add my own books that the reading list.

There are some changes going on with Amazon in regards to their Print On Demand service.  They are cutting off publishers who do not agree to use Amazon's owned printing service.  While I don't argue with their right to do this, I do argue with their ethics.  Because of that, I've taken off all of the "Buy Now" buttons on my reviews.  Because many small presses have decided not to comply with Amazon's demands, some of these buttons would have been inactive at any rate.

You can still find a link to the publishers and authors on each review, and they will permit you to purchase from their sites, or link you to a place where you can. 

Now, in the world of Wanda--  My novel Lost In The Mist has gone through the first stage of edits, and is currently in the next stage.  Everything is on track for a May 1, release.  Needless to say, I am very excited. 

Next week I will have pictures to post from the first scheduled speaking engagement this year.

So many things are going on and coming up in the next couple of weeks.

I"ve just posted the reviews for several more very good books, one a non-fiction book on doing book reviews.

I'm preparing for a talk on the part religion played in the Civil War, May 6th.

My book is scheduled to be out on May 1. 

The Pennwriters Annual Writer's conference will be held May 16-18.  On Saturday May 17, at 4:00PM they will sponsor an open book signing at the Lancaster Host Resort Hotel and Conference Center.  The public is welcome.

I'd love to have everyone of you visite me there.
